Euroalpha is manufacturer of drawing machines for non-ferrous wires with limited-slip technology. Encouraged by customers, and based on our deep technical expertise, Euroalpha has therefore extended the range of limited-slip drawing machines to ”Compact” Rod Breakdown and Multiwire: exclusive equipment that go much beyond the technology of similar ones currently available on the market. R1 is a Rod Breakdown Machine with capstans arranged onto two superimposed rows, which total length is less than 5mt: extremely compact to meet the most severe space requirements. Individual motor-driving of each capstan makes this machine unique, and the sophisticated SW algorithm to control the motors – perfected by EUROALPHA technical team over 17 years experience – allows R1 to operate with an extremely limited slip between wire and capstans: 0.5% à· 1.0% only. D3 is the first multiwire drawing machine ever designed with drawing capstans individually motor-driven, and available up to 32-wires since now on. Additional drawing modules with capstans driven by high-precision gear transmission are incorporated in the frame for producing thinner wires. Such design represents an unmatchable solution for cutting the negative effects of the slip, more consistent on the slower capstans, and guaranteeing a rigid mechanical transmission to the faster capstans, drawing thinner sizes. Consistent energy consumption savings, almost negligible maintenance, extreme operational flexibility (thanks to the variable elongations the same drawing machine can produce a very wide range of finished wires), reduced wire breakings, low noise level, and other important benefits of the limited-slip technology are therefore available on multiwire drawing machines as well. But, probably, the B630-F ”Four-Twist” Bunching Machine is the most revolutionary equipment. A patented dual-bow rotating group performs four-twists each revolution of the transmission shaft, while the conventional bunchers perform two-twists only. Productivity is therefore double at the same RPM, and energy consumptions can be reduced by running the machine at lower RPM.
