The machine model RSC was designed to powder cables, wires, hoses, and profiles evenly, finely dosed and absolutely dust free with powders like talc, stearate, lac powder, swellable powder, graphite etc. Due to the electrostatic charging of the powder a strong adhesive power on the product and a very even layer on the surface is reached. The electrostatic also makes sure that no powder falls from the product outside of the dusting chamber. Depending on extrusion speed and product diameter one up to four powder guns of 100kV each are used. We deliver machines for the smallest product diameters up to 200mm. The machine will be manufactured correspondingly to the desired extrusion speed and diameter. In the machine there is a fluidised powder hopper out of which the powder is sucked by pneumatic venturi pumps and blown through the guns onto the cable or wire. For an optimal adjustment of the powder quantity you can adjust the power of the electrostatic charging from 0-100kV, the powder quantity and the speed of the dust cloud. Depending on the product the powder gun can be equipped with different powder nozzles. In the machine there is a fully automatic and maintenance free filter system which is not cleaned off by blowing in compressed air. Thanks to this filter system a strong and constant vacuum is generated in the machine, so that no powder will escape into the ambient – guaranteed. Inlet and outlet openings of the dusting chamber do not have to be sealed by brushes etc. If there is not enough space in the line to place the machine we deliver a free standing dusting chamber which is connected to the machine by hoses. For an extremely fine powdering of slowly running products we offer as an option a fine dosing device to make sure that only a breath of powder is transported to the guns. As accessories for the machines you can get an automatic 90l powder refilling hopper, a powder flow indicator giving an alarm in case no powder flows through the guns, an automatic adjustment of the electrostatic and the pneumatic in compliance with the extrusion speed, and an interface to connect the machine to the line.
