GCR Eurodraw and Comapac Wire Machinery, which has now become the GCR Group company are specialized in the production of equipment for welding wire. This year GCR Eurodraw will be exhibiting:
– two new wire drawing lines, fully in operation with wire. One machine will be dedicated to the production of high carbon spring wire starting from wire rod; the other is a smaller machine dedicated to the production of fine low carbon wire. One machine will be fitted with a spool take-up; the other will have a small static coiler designed for the production of small 25 Kg coils of wire.
– one double-twist buncher equipped with a unique spool pay-off for large spools, fully in operation, and set-up to produce 1+6 galvanized rope.
– one double sand belt wire rod grinding machine, to be used for the wire rod preparation of large diameter wire, prior to wire drawing.
Comapac will be exhibiting:
– a CO2 welding wire rewinding line, semiautomatic, with automatic first layer deposition.
– a section of a flux-cored welding wire strip forming line
– a BVD 1250 semiautomatic double vertical spooler suitable for low and high carbon steel wire
– a full range of wire pointers for small, medium and large diameter wire.
