At this year’s wire fair GEO Reinigungstechnik will be presenting cleaning systems and components for the improvement of surface quality of long products like wires, cables, strips and tubes for the eighth time. Already specialists in high performance-ultrasound modules and high pressure nozzles, wet chemical cleaning processes will this also be a focus of the presentation. Ultrasonic cleaning is considered indisputably one of the most effective methods in meeting the high requirements on the surface quality of wire particularly for the automotive industry telecommunications and medical technology industries. GEO attains highest cleaning results by the use of efficient and variable components integrated into space saving “plug and play” systems with fluid management. A wide assortment of accessories supplements their product range. This includes air wipes which achieve optimal drying of wires and cables even at high speed with minimal use of compressed air. For lighter cleaning operations inverted spiral brushes are recommended. The brushes are available in a broad range of sizes with a variety of filament types and galvanized or stainless channels.
