After the satisfying participation to the two-year ago event, also this year WTM will be present to wire Russia to show its high technology in laying pitch control of the taping process. WTM will display its high-speed taping heads for round, sector and flat conductors. These taping heads are suitable for any WTM’s horizontal and vertical taping machine, whose production speed can reach up to 3’000rpm. A complete range of heads with mechanical or fully electronic control of the tape tensioning (also while running) is available for all kind of tapes that the market requires. Each line can be equipped with single and multiple heads, with caterpillars or capstans or with the new pulling unit, composed by a caterpillar combined with a pulling capstan drum, which allows to expand the range of diameters treated. The head can lay the tape from edge to edge up to the requested overlapping, and it is equipped with WTM’s “universal joint element”, that fits the mandrels installed in every WTM’s taping module. In this way WTM’s taping heads satisfy completely any production specification. WTM manufactures also complete high performance single twisting lines, sintering lines, rewinding lines with in-line quality control processes, take-ups, pay-offs, capstans, caterpillars, dancers and accumulators, in-line tapers and binders, longitudinal tapers, meter-counters and other special equipment for wire industry.
