General economic conditions are improving for the Moscow wire/Metallurgy-Litmash, Tube Russia and Aluminium/Non Ferrous trade fair duo: despite the extremely tough economic climate of recent years, the metallurgy, wire and cable sectors are viewing the future with relative optimism, thanks to an ongoing increase in investment in Russia.

Event organisers and fair exhibitors are called upon to take advantage of the current upturn. Many sectors rely on products from the wire, cable and wire-processing industry, essential as they are for transmitting electrical energy, electronic data, or mechanical forces. In order to meet increased product requirements, machinery and plant is needed that can adapt to a whole range of specifications, while continuing to offer the same high degree of production quality with a minimum consumption of resources.
Event organisers have also noticed the boost to sector optimism, recording an increase in the number of exhibitors and space sold at wire Russia to be held from 23rd – 26th May at the Krasnaya Presnya exhibition site. 226 exhibitors from 29 countries are due to attend wire Russia.
German companies will be represented by an official pavilion hosted by the Federal Republic of Germany. Italy, Austria, France, USA and China are also to present their own pavilions.
wire Russia 2011 is being organised by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and its subsidiary Messe Düsseldorf Moskau OOO in collaboration with the VNIIKP – All Russian Cable Scientific Research and Development Institute.
Further synergies have been created by the simultaneous occurrence of another trade fair on the Moscow exhibition site: the Metallurgy-Litmash, Tube Russia and Aluminium/Non-Ferrous fair on metal-working and metal processing, also from 23rd – 26th May. Here too organisers have noticed an upturn, with more exhibitors and space sold than at the previous event. 270 exhibitors from 22 countries are due to attend the Metallurgy-Litmash, Tube Russia and Aluminium/Non-Ferrous fair. Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, Messe Düsseldorf Moskau OOO and ist Russian partner Metalexpo have been able to attract official pavilions from Germany, Italy, Austria and China.
The trade fair duo is the premier platform for trading and forging contacts in the metallurgy, wire and cable industry of the emerging Russian market and its neighbouring states. Once again, the event bring out its reputation for high quality by presenting visitors with top-notch equipment both for metalworking and the wire and cable industry.
Last time, in the year 2009, spread across a net exhibition area of some 8,000 square metres in the cutting-edge Expocentre located on the banks of the Moskva in the Krasnaya Presnya district, the two fairs jointly attracted a total of 9,200 visitors from Russia and the surrounding region as well as experts of international origin. Hailing from 29 countries, the 254 Metallurgy Litmash, Tube Russia and Aluminium/Non-Ferrous exhibitors trained the spotlight on their latest products while wire Russia presented a showcase of 214 companies from 29 nations.
