The IWMA continues its support for wire Russia, unbroken since the first edition in 2003, and will be promoting the many benefits of association membership. Also likely to be of great interest to visitors is the forthcoming technical conference in Düsseldorf. Following successful events in Stresa, Prague, Bologna and Istanbul, ACIMAF (Associazione Costruttori Italiani Macchine per Filo, Italy), CET (Comité Européen de la Tréfilerie, France), WAI Inc (Wire Association International, USA) and the IWMA are collaborating again to hold a major wire and cable conference over one and a half days at the Congress Center Düsseldorf in November 2011. Joining the team of co organisers for the first time is the International Wire & Cable Exhibitors Association (IWCEA). The conference, apart from featuring a panel of both ferrous and non-ferrous expert speakers on 7 November, will also have table top exhibits and on the morning of 8 November the opportunity to go on either a ferrous or non-ferrous factory tour.
