At wire 2008 in Düsseldorf Weighpack will show a complete new method of furnace feeding and collecting for high tensile fasteners. Weighpack developed a double furnace feeding system for a capacity of 2500kg per hour. Over a width of 2000mm the product is spread equally and in one single layer assuring a constant and regular product heating in the furnace. The output is adjustable in step of 50kg per hour. The “lump free” handling will result in a better quality of heat treatment.
To collect the heavy parts at the end of the furnace a new developed Softdrop System can be installed assuring damage free loading of fasteners and supporting thread quality.
