Continuous casting technology specialists, Rautomead Limited, will present a range of equipment for the casting of special alloy wire rod and large diameter non-ferrous rod at Interwire Expo 2009.
The main focus of Rautomead’s attendance at Interwire will surround the manufacture of oxygen-free copper, copper-magnesium, copper-silver, copper-tin and copper-cadmium alloys of 0.315” to 1.18” diameters, in capacities ranging from 6 million to 60 million pounds-per-year. At the same time, Rautomead will be presenting its equipment for the manufacture of near net shape high quality zinc wire and brass wire rod.
Rautomead Limited offers over 30 years’ experience at the forefront of continuous casting technology for non-ferrous metals. A research and development facility is available at Rautomead’s Scottish-based headquarters for the production of samples for evaluation and for the development of casting technologies to process new alloys and section shapes.
