The customers showed high interest in the High Voltage Continuity Tester Flexible (HVC), which DSE introduced last year, as well as the upcoming new Tangent Delta tester – the TD5. The customers also experienced DSE’s unique feature for testing of all types of enamelled wire for both round and rectangular wire.
High voltage continuity tester – a growing market: Last year, DSE introduced a High Voltage Continuity Tester, HVC Flexible, which is already enjoying extensive popularity among the customers. “At this year’s wire in Düsseldorf we saw an increasing demand for HVC equipment especially for rectangular wire, which seems to be a growing market all over the world”, says Poul Knudsen, Product Manager at DSE A/S. And he continues: “This indicates we are focusing on the test equipment that meets our customers’ demands, but of course we will keep on monitoring the market very closely”.
The TD5 – Built for the future: At wire DSE also unveiled the upcoming TD5, which is an expansion of the worldwide popular Tangent Delta product range (TD300 and TD9000). “With the introduction of the new TD5, we have looked into the future demands for testing of enamelled wire. The TD5 sets new standards with respect to temperature range, which is up to 400°C – and optionally higher, analyzing tools, accuracy and low maintenance”, concludes a very satisfied Poul Knudsen.
