Potentiometric displacement sensor in pencil size
Zurück
Thin air more and more also for users of displacement sensors, as to say they have to cope increasingly with restricted structures for the sensor’s integration. Especially for all such applications with limited space requirements burster now presents its new potentiometric displacement sensor model 8709 that with its mere 12.9mm outer diameter resembles more a pencil than a sensor.
Despite its small diameter the well-priced displacement sensor is available in measurement ranges from 0.25mm up to 0.250mm with a non-linearity of up to 0.05% F.S. Its excellent measuring accuracy is guaranteed even at movement speeds of up to 10m/s due to a high-grade resistance line and two independently springy and noble-metal multifinger grinders picking-off the measuring signal. A highly precise friction bearing houses a free to move push rod that is easily hand-screwed to the measuring object by using the fine thread located at one end.
