The new machine series is designed to manufacture a wide spectrum of extension springs, such as springs with German and English loops, hooks and tangential legs. The numerical control regulates the wire feed, the movement of the winding finger, the cutting function and the carriages for pushing up the loop. The machines are fitted with a transfer device which centres the spring in the looping machine on the second station and pushes up the second loop. The administration of the program is simplified by a graphic representation whilst the dialogue between the machine and the user is simple and rational. It also incorporates the option of tele-assistance.
