Pliezhausen/Germany (TKD Group) – For almost twelve months Nettetal has been undergoing drastic expansion work and this July, TKD, well-known supplier of special and standard cables, has completed this task.
With a budget of three million euros the storage and dispatch areas have been expanded by approx. 3000m2 and the fully automated high-rack warehouse now has a capacity for almost 12,000 euro-palettes.
Consequently, TKD has enhanced its performance to its customers with the opening of the newly created storage capacity. The capacity of the existing high-rack warehouse has doubled; the rail systems have been expanded and changes to update technology have also been carried out. Through these measures it is possible to increase the picking of the products by around 30%.
