Zwolle/NL (Rood) – During the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in Rood Testhouse International N.V. of 30 July, the company's new name and logo were presented. The trading name Rood Technology will be replaced by RoodMicrotec. The logo was developed based on the following key words: Power – Cooperation (between the two companies) – Solutions – Quality – Engineering – Test – Supporting. The ball in the logo symbolises technology and strength.
Roundness symbolizes primordial power and coherence as well as infinity, since a circle has no end point. It is a shape that is very recognisable due to its simplicity and distinctiveness. It has been decided to organise frequent informative meetings (socalled 4-hour meetings) for interested investors, analysts and journalists. Among the issues discussed in these meetings will be technological and other developments in the semiconductor industry.
The first two meetings will be held on 17 September and 14 October at the Okura Hotel in Amsterdam.
