Sønderborg/DK (Strecon) – Strecon A/S has obtained the distributorship of Dijet Industrial, a Japanese high-quality manufacturer of die inserts, punches, knock out pins and other carbide tooling for precision forging applications. Dijet delivers carbide tooling to leading car manufactures and their suppliers in the Japanese market. Now Dijet is ready to enter the European market.
Strecon A/S has also obtained the distributorship of Japan Hardware (JHW), world-wide known for their segmented carbide die technology. JHW has been promoting and selling their products in the European markets for several years. With this new distributorship, Strecon A/S shall contribute to obtaining a better market position in the European carbide tooling market for fasteners and precision forging applications.
Furthermore, Strecon A/S has obtained the distributorship of Felss GmbH in the Scandinavian markets of Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Felss’ products are exported all over the world. Strecon A/S shall contribute to improving the position in the Scandinavian markets.
Strecon is currently developing a number of other new products. For example the new Robot Assisted Polishing machine also known as RAP. Currently Strecon undertakes a field test programme, and plans to launch the new machine tool in the first or second quarter of 2009. The first machine, RAP200, is for polishing of inside, outside and end face surfaces of round (2D rotation symmetric) tools and components like dies, punches, tubes, etc. Later on the machine tool will be capable of polishing more complex parts like gear products, spiders, tripods, etc. (3D part geometry).
Strecon has developed and already sold four units of a new type of tool assembly press. The design is compact and specifically designed for tool assembly and adjustment, for example of the inner diameter of the insert. The press unit comes in 125T, 150T, 200T, and 300T press force. Overall dimensions are 1000 x 900mm/2300mm in height. Hydraulics etc. has been integrated into the overall press dimensions requiring only a little space and easy to install and move when required.
