In emergencies, the extinguishing system fights fire in the machine tool. There are no detrimental effects either to the environment or the technical components. The extinguishing process is based on the pneumatic principle and thus allows fires to be detected and extinguished completely without power. To this purpose, a hose system is installed inside the machine tool. This "LIFDES" hose (Linear Fire Detection Source) works like a linear fire detector. It is pressurized and bursts when the temperature exceeds 110 degrees Celsius. A connected valve releases the extinguishing agent when the pressure in the hose drops.
A measuring probe permanently monitors the available quantity of extinguishing agent. If this drops below the quantity necessary for successful extinguishing, visual and acoustic signals are output. A communication interface monitors the pneumatic extinguishing system and signals any operating states that deviate from the standard. The Sinorix al-deco can be used flexibly in machine tools and its installation does not involve special requirements such as sealing air, control signals or message criteria. Sinorix al-deco is CE-compliant and has been tested by the German Technical Inspectorate (TÜV).
