Chelles/FR (Gauder) – Midal Cables (Bahrein) has placed another repeat order for one more Pourtier – Gauder Group rigid strander line RFS 630, designed for stranding up to 61 wires, taking its total orders for the type to four complete lines in four years.
Mr. E. Gauder, President of the group said: "This repeat order shows the excellent partnership built between MIDAL and the Gauder Group. We strive to establish such a relation with all our customers by our continuous efforts to maintain and improve reliability and service. After having achieved the leading position in rotating machines for LAN cable with Setic – Gauder Group, we are now putting a step forward to reach a similar position in the power cable segment with Pourtier – Gauder Group.”
The Midal Cables order reinforces Gauder Group ranking among the leading rotating machines companies across the world. Stability and continuity are reflected in the figures : since 2006, 13 rigid strander lines (i.e. 39 cages) have been delivered while 25 lines (i.e. 84 cages) are on order. At this point, we can already announce that at least 123 new cages type “RFS 630” and “RFS 800” - 6 to 42 bobbins - will be in production worldwide by the end of 2008 !
