Thinking ahead means never to be late in tracking down innovations and making them profitable for the extrusion industry. The exclusive co-operation of Inoex and CrossLink (Finland) extends Inoex’s range of products by a new generation of infrared ovens for PEX A pipe extrusion. Inoex will do the sales & service world-wide.
On the K 2007, Inoex and CrossLink presented the infrared oven for the production of PEX A pipes which can achieve a substantial increase in productive capacity. Similar to all other Inoex products, the oven can be retrofitted into existing production lines. The most interesting benefit of this new infrared technology is a higher production speed. Production output per extruder can be raised whereby the crosslinking degree will remain constant.
This higher productivity can be achieved on account of an optimised process engineering. The infrared oven developed by CrossLink supplies a regular and controlled amount of heat into the PEX A crosslinking process. The skin of the plastic pipe is protected from overheating or the formation of blowholes by way of an integrated cooling system. An innovation with persuasive power.
Inoex has got many years of experience in the plastics inextrusion industry. „saveomat“ which stands for dosing stations is leading in the market for precise dosing of peroxide. saveomat and the infrared oven developed by CrossLink complement each other. The combination of both technologies creates synergetic effects which have an influence on the recipe, wall thickness, material supply, material dosing, cooling and haul-off speed.
Inoex and CrossLink as strong partners are able to offer a perfectly tuned product portfolio and a world-wide service to pipe manufacturers. Besides, PEX A research & development activities will be continued together with Inoex, according to Aarne Heino who is the owner of CrossLink.
Presently, both companies are working on the integration of these new infrared ovens into the proven control terminals of Inoex.
