Limburg/Germany (Strecker) – August Strecker GmbH & Co. KG, for almost 75 years well-known as a reputable manufacturer of buttwelding equipment to the wire and cable industry worldwide, has taken the necessary steps for a future successful development of the company and settled the succession in company management and ownership:
With effect of July 1, 2007, the former major shareholders of August Strecker GmbH & Co. KG, Mrs. Jutta Voigt and Mrs. Ruth Hanisch, have sold their interests to brothers Bernd and Michael Stock.
Both Bernd as well as Michael Stock have a sound background as engineers in mechanical engineering with many years of experience in the industry. Through their father Dipl.-Ing. Rainer Stock, for decades managing director of Strecker, they already have strong ties to the company.
In a joint effort, the Stock family as company management will take care of the future stable, solid and long-term development of August Strecker GmbH & Co. KG and will be fully supported by 60 employees in the Limburg/Germany parent company as well as 40 representatives worldwide.
