Wire Asia celebrating its 25th Anniversary for the longest history in China

Chinese Provincial Associations of Wire and Cable strongly supporting Wire Asia to make it the top-level trade show. In recent years, rapid growth of the wire and pipe industry in China has replaced Japan as the world's second largest country of wire and cable industry. China’s electric wire and cable industry has witnessed rapid development over the past years amid sustainable economic growth. At present, it has become the global leader by consumption of copper and aluminum, the fundamental raw materials for production of electric wires and cables.
The various kinds of wires and cables are required in large quantity for Chinese projects such as electric power supply, transportation, tele-communication and energy resource. According to the electric power market analysis data in 2007, the total of electric power has gone up from 11% to 12.5% and reached to a hundred million of 31,800Kw/h. The number of 1000MW nuclear power generation system will be 27 before 2020, but the total number of 1000MW nuclear power generation system has increased to 40. The rate of nuclear power will go up from 1.8% to 4%. The China Nuclear Industry Group hopes that the average rate of domestic equipment will reach to 60%. At present, all K3 1E class cables can be made by domestic manufacturers absolutely and K1 1E class cables have been developed successfully for further evaluation in all respects.
The 12th International Conference and Exhibition for the wire, cable, fasteners, springs and other products will take place from 7-9 November 2007 in China World Trade Center, which is a good chance for business and technical exchanges for both the international and local companies. With the full supports from Chinese industry associations such as Beijing Wire and Cable Industry Association, Hebei Wire and Cable Industry Association, Zhejiang Wire and Cable Industry Association, Anhui Wire and Cable Industry Association, Jiangsu Wire and Cable Industry Association, Henan Wire and Cable Industry Association, Hubei Wire and Cable Industry Association, Shanghai Wire and Cable Industry Association, Guangdong Wire and Cable Industry Association, the Wire and Cable Branch of Chinese Electric Component Association, and Chinese Wire and Cable Association, the Show Organizers will invite media at home and from abroad to give full reports about this conference during the show. With these efforts, we aim to create a professional international exhibition of a higher level in Asia and in China.
Various concurrent forums and technical seminars in conjunction with the twin events will attract more trade visitors, such as The China Wire & Cable Forum. The conference offers an ideal opportunity to understand and master the developments of the wire & cable and optical fiber cable industries.
