"IAA-India-Day” facilitates discussions between manufacturers, suppliers and government representatives

Frankfurt/Germany (VDA) – The German and Indian automotive industries have determined 18 joint project goals at the 62nd International Motor Show (IAA) Cars in the presence of the Indian Minister for Heavy Industries, Sontosh Mohan Dev, and the German parliamentary State Secretary Ulrich Kasparick. The aim is to strategically expand and consolidate their already successful cooperation. At the “IAA-India-Day” Matthias Wissmann, President of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), and his Indian counterpart Ravi Kant, President of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and Managing Director of Tata Motors, signed a bilateral agenda, the “SIAM-VDA-Mission Plan.” This document is the result of an intensive and successful exchange and an expression of the continually growing mutual interest between the manufacturers and suppliers.
