New cabling concepts for computer centres
Zurück
Copper and fibre optic cables are increasingly laid in cable ducts and trays above the racks in server and computer centres with air and water cooling realized via the double floor. To ensure that these installations are as neat, flexible and economical as possible, Dätwyler Cables not only offers pre-terminated fibre optic trunk cables as part of its computer centre infrastructure solutions, but has also recently added special copper trunk cables to its product range. These consist of six bundled 1 and 10 Gigabit Ethernet-compatible AWG 23 data cables or multiples thereof. The cables are factory-labelled, come in custom-made lengths and are equipped with different connectors as required; these include RJ45 modules, Cat.7/7A plugs (PS GG45 and PS TERA) or multiple-contact plugs.
