München/Germany (MVTec) – MVTec Software GmbH cultivates close relationships with a large number of suppliers of image acquisition devices. The ‚MVTec Image Acquisition Partner Program' represents these partnerships.
The MVTec Image Acquisition Partner Program already includes 25 well-known manufacturers of cameras and frame grabbers. The primary goal of this program is the close collaboration in developing and maintaining the image acquisition interfaces, as well as in potential support cases. This cooperation helps to provide the customer with the best possible interfacing between software and hardware.
An ongoing information flow between the partners about each others products is an important requirement for this. For this reason, MVTec has invited all European partner companies, which offer GigE Vision products, to a training. Representatives of numerous camera manufacturers (e.g. Baumer, JAI, Leutron, Mikrotron, SVS-Vistek) attended this event. Topics were the specific training for the image acquisition interfaces to Halcon and ActivVisionTools with the focus on the new Halcon GigEVision interface.
