Cinisello Balsamo/IT (UCIMU) – 96,411 visitors travelled to Milan for 26.BI-MU/Sfortec, the exhibition event promoted by UCIMU-Sistemi per Produrre at fieramilano from 3 to 7 October 2008. The exhibition focusing on the offering of machine tools, robots, automation and auxiliary products (NC, tools, components and accessories) – together with a broad overview of technical sub-contracting – confirmed its role as a vital appointment for operators in manufacturing industry attracted to Milan from all over the world. In fact, 5,841 international operators representing 77 countries visited the 26.BI-MU/Sfortec. This figure confirms and highlights the international character of the exhibition; the event focused on 1767 companies – 45% of which international – in an overall net exhibition area of about 72,000 square metres, 10% more than for the previous edition.
