Fullstage Technologies, a provider of high quality CNC tube bending machines from Japan and Taiwan, is now also able to offer CNC wire benders with up to 11 axes. Through its partnership with Taihei Osaka, Fullstage is proud to offer products from one of Japan’s leading equipment makers. Founded in 1959, Taihei is known for its development and production of a variety of machines that offer both modernity and high quality. Currently Taihei’s machines are used in a variety of industries including: automotive, electric, metal fabrication, and construction.

As the oldest Japanese manufacturer of CNC wire benders Taihei is currently interested in establishing its business in Europe. As a result Taihei already displayed its 11 axes wire bending machine at this year’s wire in Duesseldorf. Visitors were truly impressed by the bender’s versatility.
As a company, Taihei focuses equally on its customer service as well as its technology. Because both of these areas are strategically important for the Japanese equipment manufacturer, Taihei provides production equipment that meets the individual needs of each of its customers.
What advantages can a customer expect with the purchase of a Taihei machine? Because the quality requirements of the Japanese automotive industry (followed closely by the German) are the most rigorous in the world, the primary advantage is the precision with which these machines are able to meet the highest levels of production quality. For Japanese suppliers to the auto industry standards can be even more demanding because each company wants to be on the safe side regarding the caliber of its products. Although this tendency may be a Japanese characteristic this practice has spread and gained acceptance internationally. Another thing is unique about Japan as well: it is an island state with old and longstanding traditions; its society is a closed, self-sustaining world. Meeting these requirements, therefore, is very important as it allows trust in society, and business, to be built. Conversely if the demands are not met a company can lose face and its reputation. As a result quality is the most important requirement for Japanese manufacturers, naturally they demand this of their respective machines as well.

Not only for the automotive industry

Just like it did for the automotive industry, Taihei is now interested in providing its high quality equipment to other industrial sectors because automotive production in Japan, North America and Europe has been decreasing yearly. On the other hand companies have been trying to save their customers costs and to increase the quality of their equipment. So one has to think about a machine’s flexibility beyond wire bending: it should not only be able to bend wire but also other materials; it should not only bend soft material but heat-treated parts as well; it should not function as a separate machine but as a system; it should also be capable of hours-long unmanned operation.

Not only wire benders

In addition to wire benders, its high value know-how allows Taihei to build a wide assortment of other machines for various industries:
– Silicon wafer grinders
–Mandrel coiling machines
– High speed point formers (drill point forming of self drilling screws)
– Spring end grinders
– Dual head vertical grinders
