During the forthcoming wire Southeast Asia parts of the Plasticolor product range of dosing units, mixing stations, hopper loaders, etc., will be shown on the German Pavilion. The Plasticolor product range being manufactured by Woywod Kunststoffmaschinen GmbH in Germany, is worldwide known for the high precision, economical advantages and durability. The precise dosing of each component will help the cable manufacturer to produce a better quality, but also to save money by using the minimum of necessary materials. Another subject is the reduction of downtime on the extrusion lines, which gives additional advantages to the producer. Plasticolor mixing stations are used especially in high quality productions of cross-linked insulations or in productions with foamed layers. The exact dosing of each component and the perfect mixture of the materials helps the screw of the extruder to homogenize the melt and this will result in a better product quality and substantial cost reduction in less material consumption for the expensive materials like catalyst or foaming agent.
