Integrated production line composed of cold rolling mill and inline annealer for manufacturing PV-Ribbon
Back
Bühler Würz Kaltwalztechnik and Maschinenfabrik Niehoff present on the occasion of the wire Southeast Asia in Bangkok a production line for manufacturing PV-Ribbon made of copper. Ribbon is rolled by the mill from round copper wire and is optionally tuned by in-line process by induction annealer to the required mechanical properties. Dimensions, which can be processed, cover the entire range of solar wire. The needs of manufacturers of solar cells to the yield strength and fracture are fully met even at production speeds of up to 1000m/min. This applies to the rolling mill as well as to the optionally integrated inline annealer. Thus, for example, an output capacity of 1500 to/p.a. can be achieved for a solar strip with the dimensions 5.0 x 0.1. Compared with conventional systems on the market, it means an improvement in productivity of at least factor 5 with regard to the annealing process. Bühler Würz Kaltwalztechnik is a manufacturer of cold rolling mills for steel and non-ferrous alloys with long-time tradition and extensive experience in rolling technology for different applications. Together with its partners, Niehoff develops production systems which address all of the needs and preferences of wire and cable manufacturers. Constant improvements are incorporated into the production systems, reflecting the latest advances in technology. Interested parties are cordially invited to visit us at our booth number 3/J21 or to contact directly with Maschinenfabrik Niehoff or Bühler Würz Kaltwalztechnik.
