Hagen/Germany (VDFI) – On the occasion of the last ESF-Board-Meeting held May 6, 2011 at Florence the president of VDFI (German spring manufacturers’ association) has been elected to the president of ESF (European spring federation). ESF consists of 7 national spring associations (Germany, United Kingdom, Finland, France, Italy, Austria, Spain) and 3 associated members (the companies Hagens Fjedre/Denmark, EWES Stalfjäder AB/Sweden, Rusvil Ltd./Russia). Rudolf Muhr thanked his forerunner Mr. Federico Visentin from Italy for his engagement during the last three yeas and underlines that he also wants to support the successful constructive teamwork of the European spring industry in the future. The next meeting of the industry – the 6th International ESF Congress of Spring – on September 23, 2011 at Paris is a golden opportunity to strengthen the network und to update knowledge about actual developments.
