Zumbach will show at Metec (Booth 05 C 26, June 28 – July 02, 2011, Düsseldorf/Germany) equipment and solutions for precise measurement and monitoring of dimensions and shape/ geometry of any bar, pipe or profile, hot or cold. With two basic technologies Zumbach can always offer an optimal solution.
Steelmaster is based on tangential laser scanning with Odac® scanners and Profilemaster® is based on highly developed “light cut” vision technology. Both technologies feature many, interesting news.
Some of the highlights are:
New Steelmaster Measuring Systems based on Laser Technology
Multi functional measuring units for programmable measurement over 360° of the hot rolled product periphery, with different number of measurement axes. Amongst others, the 3 axes version in combination with EPM software (pat. pend.) also detects and measures polygonal shape deviations.
Profilemaster® Measuring Systems with CCD Cameras
Two new measuring units of the wide range of Profilemaster systems for hot and/or cold bar, pipe and profiles of any shape will be shown. The systems are able to measure the complete profile, including key dimensions and shape deviations, like wrong radii, trapezoidal, concave, convex segments etc.
Ecogauge
Economic and fully protected single axis diameter scanner for hot and cold applications for dimensions up to 300 mm.
3-axis Odac® Scanner
Laser diameter measuring head for round or polygonal products.
CSS – Calibrated Single Scan Technology
This means that now up to 12,000 accurate measurements per sec are available with multi-axis Steelmaster gauges. As a result, dimensional variations in longitudinal and in radial direction can be captured and analysed much better.
Speel 3000
True length and speed measurement system, even down to zero speed.
