Simulation in Bulk Metal Forming Technology
Hamburg/Germany (simufact) – Simufact Engineering GmbH, a leading provider of software and services in the area of process simulation in the manufacturing industry, announces that its13th RoundTable will take place at the Welcome Hotel in Bamberg, Germany, from April 23-26, 2012. The RoundTable brings together experts, engineers and managers of the branch and is dedicated to simulation in bulk metal forming. The attendees will have the possibility to gain insights into the broad application range of process simulation and will learn more about the latest trends and news of the industry. A key focus will be the simulation of entire process chains, which are indispensable for today’s innovative engineering tasks. This includes the entire process simulation, i.e. that a forming simulation builds on results taken from a casting simulation and can thereafter be continued with a joining analysis, for example welding. The international focus of the RoundTable offers all attendees the possibility to network and to exchange experiences with peers from other countries and regions. Simufact users from all industries are invited to submit their presentations on forming simulation and to contribute to the success of the 13th RoundTable. Official conference languages are German and English, simultaneous translation for both will be provided. Since its inception in 1998 the yearly RoundTable evolved into a constantly growing, top-class, and international event. Last year’s event attracted more than 150 attendees from all over the world to Bamberg. Next year, the RoundTable will - for the first time - take place in spring and at the same time as the Hanover Fair, Germany’s big industrial trade show. Simufact thus provides - especially the international attendees - the possibility to attend the RoundTable, and to add a visit to the world’s biggest industry trade show, while staying in Germany. “With the 13th RoundTable we are pleased to continue the standing tradition to host the event in Bamberg“, said Michael Wohlmuth, Managing Director of Simufact Engineering. „Process simulation becomes increasingly important to stay ahead of the competition. The technical showcase will offer attendees the possibility to learn more about partner solutions, to build new relationships and to foster existing ones. The traditional evening events on both conference days and the guided company visits on day three, during which attendees will have the possibility to look at the use of process simulation in practice, will complete the conference.
